Windsor-Essex market sees sales growth

There was an increase of 2.11 per cent in available listings of homes in the Windsor-Essex housing market in March. The county’s realtors’ association says that market activity gained for the second consecutive month, although year to date activity is 1.44 per cent lower than 2015 after a poor January.

Sales show a stronger picture with a 25.44 per cent rise in March compared to a month earlier while year to date sales are up 18.68 per cent. Average prices rose 9.77 per cent in the month to $216,860.
Central Windsor/Downtown saw the largest number of sales at 111, with LaSalle showing the most county sales at 49.
