Bridgemarq Real Estate Services announces annual meeting date

Bridgemarq Real Estate Services has announced that it filed its annual information form, management information circular, and related annual meeting materials on SEDAR.

In the filings, Bridgemarq set its annual meeting for May 7, 2019 in Toronto. The term of Simon Dean as director at Bridgemarq will also expire on that day, and he has announced that he will not be seeking re-election to the board.  Brookfield’s board extended thanks Dean for his contributions and wished him well his future endeavours.

To replace Dean, Bridgemarq’s board has proposed Colum Bastable as a director-nominee to be considered for election at the annual meeting. Bastable has over 40 years of experience in the real estate services industry, including his recent role as chairman of Cushman and Wakefield Canada, a leading provider of commercial property brokerage services.
